But you need to fight your way through it.
YES… okay that stupid piss ass feeling of being bloated 24/7… it SUCKS… but, its natural.
No one ever told me about it so I ended up relapsing really badly. Basically, in simple terms, what’s happening is your body is readjusting. Your digestive system has to learn to work properly again and it takes some time for it to do that. Once it does, that stupid bloated feeling will go away.
Your body is going to go through this whole process of learning to work properly again and it’s gonna finally even out and find your “happy place”. That means, once youve gained, you may drop a tiny bit of weight since your body is now able to work the way it was meant to and once this happens, that bloated feeling is gonna go away.
This is also why it’s SO important to get the psychological/emotional support while you’re going through the process of weight restoration. It can be really difficult and draining not only physically but also psychologically.
Something that may help you through this is to be aware of your clothing.
Jeans may be something you wanna stay away from for a while. Things like dresses, skirts, empire waist or a-line tops/dresses, yoga pants, ect… (AKA things on the more comfy side) are gonna be your best options for a while. Just make sure to avoid just living in baggy sweats while you’re going through the process of weight restoration. Wear what makes you feel as good as possible. These are things that won’t dig into/rub/touch the areas you’re probably more sensitive about right now and they will also cover your body up a bit so you can feel more confident in them while still being able to wear cute outfits.
There’s no specific length that this process will last. There are way too many variables to factor into it but what you need to keep in mind is that if you step back because of this feeling, if you relapse, you’re going to have to start this process all over and that’s just going to prolong this crappy feeling.
